Proud to work with such an organisation.
The Recognise Australia’s First Peoples campaign is a voluntary working group aligned with ANTAR (Australians for Native Title and Reconciliation) and Reconciliation Queensland (a peak indigenous body in Queensland) campaigning for an open discussion on the recognition of Australia’s indigenous population in the country’s constitution. We were asked to develop a website that would conform to guidelines set out by various entities also involved in the area and promote open discussion.
Due to geographical constraints, we have exclusively worked with the leaders of R.A.F.P via remote methods such as Skype and various desktop control services. Design considerations were discussed and planned extensively with R.A.F.P. ensuring we were conforming to recommended guidelines and keeping the site enjoyable and easy to use across all devices..
Having agreed upon a design, we integrated with a Content Management System to allow the administrators and contributors to add new content to the site and edit existing content with ease. We have provided multiple training sessions, making sure everyone is comfortable using the back-end of the site, and will, of course offer ongoing support, maintenance and updates.
Recognise Australia’s First Peoples is listed on several high profile sites, and is well on its way to becoming one itself. With a large launch covered by local media and a rapidly growing readership, we’re really looking forward to watching the Recognise Australia’s First Peoples site take off and help the cause.
